COUPLING

A Coupling is a device used to connect two shafts ends together for the purpose of transmitting power.  Generally, Couplings do not allow disconnection of shafts during the operation, however when the torque limit is exceeded, torque limiting couplings can be used to assist in slippage or disconnect and help reduce the torque to a safe level.

The main function of coupling is to join two pieces of rotating equipment while permitting some degree of misalignment or end movement or both.

With careful selection, installation and proper maintenance, you can have substantial savings made in reduced cost of ownership in the maintenance costs and downtime.

TZPLUS have a wide range Coupling models available for selection.
